Back on the trail!

So we have woken from our deep sleep. We launched our EP (which you can buy by contacting us by email or coming to a gig...and please do...we're very proud of it) and then people went away for Christmas and holidays and then our bass player left for Ireland for a year! When everyone was back from holidays and settled we began the search for a fill in for Tim. We eventually decided on Mark, our bass player from high school days who had to leave when he moved back to England. He is up to speed and we are gigging again with a recent gig at the Espy going very smoothly. Come check us out at Station 59 every Sunday from July 27th at 7pm!

The Tabasco Junkies are HOT!

Junkies2007 flies into the scope and The Tabasco Junkies have hit the ground running! Gigs, record deals, international tours and groupies are all on the cards as Cam and the gang continue to pump out their harmonious ear play. Do yourselves a favour and take your pens to the Barbukka Bar in Brunswick on the 17th when the Junkies next take to the stage, these guys are going to go big and we want autographs! I mean look! They have a website (Finally...)! Shows late last year at the Clifton Hill and the Limelight Lounge in Geelong were testament to the Junkies' quickly growing rep, with new and bigger crowds jumping on the speeding bandwagon for their Tabasco hit.

Cam rocks outSsh.. It’s rumoured that tunes like Fishbowl and Commitment are soon to head the track listing on a long-awaited EP. Fans could soon be taking a piece of those intoxicating horn lines and beguiling guitar riffs (Rob, what you do is good too) home with them so they can tuck in at night and snuggle with the CD til morning. Because that’s what we all do with albums we really like… Right? Guys? Guys? I’m looking forward to it anyway.

Get down to Brunswick Street, Fitzroy and check them out on the 17th of Feb with Rise and Shine and A Perfect Sunday for a night not to be missed. Beer, mates and great music.
